I bored out of my mind! Everything in the house is clean. It's bad outside.It's just a gloomy day. I just wanted to crawl back into bed and wake up to a new day. But maybe since it's bad now...... It will be great weather right when summer break starts.

For a moment, My room is CLEAN !!! My grand parents are coming to town for Thanksgiving, and I got an A on my math quiz! WE watched a movie and I got two puppies(stuffed). Yup its been a good day. To sign off I say,Happy Thanksgiving! I Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Good news!

I made Student Council! In sixth grade I tried to but we only got1 days notice to write an essay to become a candidate! The next year , they asked me to tape my speach first but it got cut so no one even new I was running. This year we had to answer a questionaire and turn it in. Then out of those turned in, the Student Council sponsor picked out those who would be placed on the ballot to be voted on. So, out of those 20 kids who ran for SC, only 3 or4 of us were going to be elected.
I was so excited when I heard my name announced over the intercom, but I tried not to smile when I found out because there were a lot of kids in my advisory that didn't make it. It was really hard not to though! :)
That was a huge accomplishment for me. I mean I prayed every night that I would make it.
This has made my day.

Yesterday was the first day of school. It was pretty good. I'm almost the size of some of the sixth graders. Most are a little taller though.(But I'm in eighth grade!) Oh well. There's good sides and bad sides to being small. One of my teachers from sixth grade, Mrs. Grulke, said by the time I'm in eighth grade, I would be as tall as everyone else. She said that to cheer me up. ( It's a little embarrassing when you can't reach the calculators even when you jump and others bent down to get theirs.) At the end of school today I measured up to a sixth grader and she was taller than me. My next goal is by the time I'm in high school.

School starts soon. August 24 to be exact. Daniel and I got registered yesterday. Daniel also got a car. It needs some fixing but it's pretty good for a first car. The thing is ....he doesn't have a licence! Mom and dad said when he gets his room done he can go and try to get his licence. I got a nice schedule this year. For the past two years I have had a hard time getting to classes and not getting to stop for like a drink. This year All the classes are right next to each other . The farthest class is the first one so I have like ten minutes to get there. I also have all of my classes except choir with my friend, Sarah. Sydney is on my school team too. Chelsea isn't though.(Syd and Chelse are my other friends from school.) We finished getting school supplies for me yesterday. I guess that means I'm all set!!!

Two Weddings and a Room

Man, I had a boring week... until Wednesday. You see, I got into my new room and had to move out of the others. This was easier said than done. My parents call me pigpen. That's because I am very messy. Daniel has a trashed room... but that's it. Me, on the other hand, trash the entire house. So it takes a while to get it all cleaned up.So guess What I was doing this week. Yup, cleaningthe rooms. Lots of fun huh? Anyway, at the end of service, Kent and Kang Hee wanted to talk to dad. Can you guess why? They wanted to get married! Well if you thought that was cool, get this. My dad asked when and they said tomarrow! They also wanted to do it at our house! Thats pretty neat. The only problem is.... that means double time on working. The next day was crazy because Daniel was at band camp and dad was busy most of the day, so it was mom and I that had to do most of the work. which was the entire downstairs. We had to clean it and decorate it. The wedding turned out great! The next day we had to clean what was left of the wedding and go back to work upstairs. Then Saturday came.Mom and I went shopping for some school clothes. Surprisingly, I had to go back from large and extra large to medium.Its kind of funny because the same thing happened to Daniel. Anyway,we had picked that day because Katie Wade was modeling at the mall for Sears and I wanted to see her. I was supposed to be there at 12:00p.m. Well, I got there at 12:16 and I was there for the last girl modeling and Dora the explorer. I ahd missed Katie. I was kind of upset about that but I had tried. Well, I tried to catch her at Sears.(I guessed that's where she would be.) We saw her but she had already changed. At least I could tell her I tried to see her.When we got home I found out we had another wedding to go to.But this one was in Monmoth at a park. The Karns were there. Jay Cee looked so cute as the flower girl. Hunter ,Brock ,and Tanner looked handsome in their suites too. The wedding was neat. After the wedding, we went out to eat at coconuts. It was good. Then Jay Cee and I decided to check out the up stairs to the shop. We could never find the end! It was so cool! then we went home and to bed.
So there you have it pretty weird huh? I mean have you ever had a week like that? Well, today I got the last room finished, so I'm not grounded anymore either. Great huh?

This summer

This summer has been a blast. I mean I've been gone 33 days. 5 at New York,5 at camp meeting, 5 at youth camp, 11 at florida and 7 at Bahamas. I have to admit I got prettty homesick at times but overall I did okay. At New York I sang at Carnegie Hall. At campmeeting I saw old friends and made new ones. At youth camp Daniel and I made Camper of the Year and got a free scholarship for next year. On our way to Florida we got to stop at my family's house and go to Six Flags.And lastly we had an absolute blast at the Bahamas. We met a lady named Wanda. She was a native from the Island. She invited us to a party for the locals. We also met a family from Florida .Their names were: Matt , Denise, Donny, Alyssa, and Brittany (sorry if I misspelled the names.) They were really nice. I guess you could say God blessed us big time this year (not that he doesn't every day).

New York!!!

I just got back from New York and man was it cool! There were what seemed like thousands of people everywhere.Now in the beginning, I have to admit I was a little nervous to go to the big apple at first,but who wouldn't be?My parents didn't go with me. My teacher, Mrs. Hickey, and my friends mom, Cindy, watched me. I went with Carl Sandburg Childrens Choir.
The day we left for New York, I got up at 2:15a.m.I couldn't sleep on the bus or the plane.I was to exited.When we got to New Jersey airport we took a charter bus to New York City and then to our hotel, The Grand Hyat Hotel....I think. We dropped our bags off and went off site seeing. That day I said hello to about 40 people. Most people smiled at me. Others stopped and talked. Some people thought I was nuts!
The next day we had our first practice. You see we went to New York tosing at Carnegie Hall. Both oractices were about 6 hours long! We had an hour to eat. After practice, we went to see if we could get tickets to see of we could get broadway tickets. We ended up getting tickets from this man on the street. It was a new show, Tarzan.We had awesome seats! The show was great!
The next day we had our second practice. Then Cindy, Ryan, Anna, and I went to see the empire state building. I got my picture with King Kong! Then we went back to our hotel to check on Mrs. Hickey. She wasn't feeling well. That's why she didn't come. She felt better. Mrs.Hickey, Ryan, and I went to get something to eat so Cindy and Anna could have time alone. Then I went to my room.
The next day was the day. The day we would sing in Carnegie hall. We had to do a dress rehersal but then we could do whatever until 6:45p.m. We went to see if we could watch Spiderman 3 be filmed. Well, we didn't see that until later butbefore that we saw the toy store and we walked passed central park. The toy store was awesome! Then we went back to our rooms to get ready. When I got on stage , my heart was pounding! Every detail in the building was amazing.The concert went great. After the concert we got on a bus to take a cruise around Ellis Island. It was beutiful!
I think my trip went great! When we got home everything seemed quiet because we were used to the noise. I was glad to see my family again.

Five year old facts

Did you Know at five your world changes? Well, it did for me anyway.

1. At five, you better not put your spoon in your cereal or it will melt away.
I used to think if I out my spoon in the milk it had melted away since I couldn't see it any more. I would keep jerking it out until one day when I left the spoon in for over 30 seconds and it was still there. Boy, was that a relief!
2.Did you know at five, if you looked out the car window, the sky would change colors?
When dad would let me sit up front, I liked to look out the windsheild...but when I looked at the top of the windsheild,the sky turned blue!
3. You better swing high on the swing or someone will push you out!!!!!!!
I've always loved swinging ,but what people didn't know was I swang really high because a teacher pushed me so high I almost fell off.

I was telling my parents about this a while agoand I thought you guys would want to know this. So if you guys have five year olds pass on the from a former one because Iyou might just see them frantically pulling their spoon out.

It's spring break!!! I love spring break. I love the picnics, egg dying, Easter egg hunts, and mostly, Easter of course! Dad says Easter egg hunts are for little kids but I'd beg to differ with him! My brother's going to our grandparents' so I'm an only child for a week. That will be a first.
